One Small Step Can Change Your Life

Dr. Maurer has taken a business model for productivity and employee morale and applied it to psychology. He gently guides us through a whole new way of perceiving our life, and towards the path to making those improvements we've been putting off indefinitely. He describes very simply how we can overcome fear, and accomplish our goals through small steps. Throughout the book the author uses the concept of Kaizen or continuous improvement via small steps to help people achieve goals. This book confirms what other self-help authors have advised, that we should take that first step, however small, towards our goals, and take another one the next day, however small. We will eventually gain momentum and achieve what we desire.

  • Susan Jeffers's reason for this Book.
"This is calm down kind of book that is perfect for all of us who tend to get frustrated and frightened when so many tasks lie ahead of us. I love this book because it is so counter to the hype in present day thinking that everything has to be big and fast. In fact, we have a greater chance of succeeding as we make very small steps and allow ourselves to adapt, body, mind and spirit. This book is a great addition to my bookshelf and to my life and I would suggest you make it part of yours."
