Women in Technology Leadership Summit scheduled for Sept 22nd at the Cisco Headquarters in San Jose, CA. The event has a great line-up of speakers including Padmasree Warrior, CTO of Cisco, who is the keynote speaker at this event.

The Women in Advanced Technology Leadership Summit will guide participants through a challenging day of self-discovery and effective action planning. Skill-building workshops will teach women how to effectively build their personal brand and proactively manage their communication style with (mostly male) colleagues.  Together, we will cover the treacherous terrain of office politics and discuss strategies for navigating to the summit. We will hear from women who have successfully forged their own career paths and are willing to share their perspectives on the journey.

This day is not about teaching you how to do it like the men. It is about offering you many perspectives and options for how to maximize the only aspect of your career that you can truly control – you.
